Jason will oversee site coordination, installation, and qualification of AST solutions, working in collaboration with AST customers onsite to ensure successful implementation of their equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jason brings over 29 years of experience in various roles throughout the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, including aseptic fill-finish and sterile product manufacturing. His experience includes project management, GMP facility and equipment design and installation, technology transfer, targeted drug manufacturing, and extensive onsite CQV leadership. Jason has been at the forefront of drug development, playing pivotal roles in bringing innovative new products to market, including first-generation gene-based hemophilia therapeutics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His career encompasses a comprehensive range of critical aseptic operations, manufacturing, and drug product lifecycle management. He has held pivotal operational and leadership roles at top-tier pharmaceutical companies, including serving as Fill-Finish Manager at Pfizer, Head of Microbial Contamination Control at Lonza, and, most recently, Global Assistant Director of Engineering at Catalent, where he led Cell and Gene Therapy development initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting on his new role at AST, Jason said, \u201cI\u2019m excited to be joining the extraordinary team at AST. I have the unique experience of previously being a customer and end user of AST\u2019s products, and I\u2019ve found myself continuously impressed by the equipment, ownership, and, ultimately, the customer service provided.\u00a0 I\u2019ve worked with many different fill-finish equipment providers throughout my career, and, in my experience, AST has consistently gone above and beyond the call. I know first-hand the quality of these solutions, and I look forward to working with our customers to ensure our equipment is installed successfully and performing at an optimal level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the Technology and Product team, Jason will spearhead efforts to ensure that AST\u2019s products, systems, and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. He\u2019ll lead AST\u2019s onsite teams in implementing cGMP strategies in line with the latest regulations, technological advancements, and best practices for documentation, risk and quality management, and validation. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steven Ng, AST\u2019s CTO and Vice President of Customer Service, commented, \u201cI\u2019ve been fortunate to know Jason for several years, and his experience and acumen speak volumes to what he brings to our team.
